From the Naples airport of Capodichino it is possible to reach the Molo Beverello by taxi or bus line. A shuttle service connects the airport to the Molo Beverello - tickets can be bought directly on the bus. By taxi one can also reach the tourist harbour of Mergellina where hydrofoils leave to Ischia.

Both the stations of Napoli Centrale and Mergellina are quite close to the harbours: the first is around 2 km far from the Molo Beverello that can be reached by taxi and bus. Tickets can be bought at the train station. On the contrary, the station of Mergellina is just 500 m far from the tourist port having the same name where hydrofoils leave to Ischia. Also here taxis are available but the harbour can be easily reached on foot to.

Highway to Naples: after the tollbooth of Naples go on for about 12 km to the bypass towards Pozzuoli, then take the exit of the tollbooth “Via Campana” and follow the road markings to the harbour of Pozzuoli where you can take a ship to Ischia Porto or Casamicciola. On the contrary, if you choose the Molo Beverello (having a longer crossing time) you have to follow the road markings to Naples – Harbour Area (Napoli – Zona Portuale) and then the road markings to the Molo Beverello where you can take a ferry to Ischia.
